What is Falling Film Equipment?
Falling film equipment is a sophisticated apparatus designed to separate substances with different boiling points efficiently. Utilizing a gravity-fed liquid film, this equipment evaporates ethanol from cannabis extracts, leaving behind concentrated cannabinoids. The process ensures rapid evaporation while minimizing heat exposure to maintain the integrity of the final product.

How Does it Work?
The falling film solvent recovery unit operates by taking in ethanol tinctures, which are then pumped into an evaporation column. Inside the column, the ethanol mixture is injected at the top, cascading down the side. Meanwhile, the ethanol evaporates due to a heat jacket, leaving the cannabinoid crude on the side for collection.
